  My friend Catherine from Australia stopped in Portland during her U.S. tour a couple of weeks ago. We took these photos in her hotel room right before their show. That’s her tour DJ Sleater Brockman jumping on the bed.

  Hi, I’m alive, and still in Portland, which is the same and feels so different in light of the fact that I am moving at the end of January. The leaves are more beautiful, the friendships more intense and also, oh yeah, we have a new president, did you hear?
